In the early startup days, staffing was tough. The first biller left after a transition into a new office, forcing Dr. Youssef to learn billing and insurance workflows himself. That experience revealed how much is on a front desk’s plate — calls, booking, FAQs, and constant context switching.
To protect patient experience and keep growth moving, he prototyped an AI that could handle inbound calls, schedule visits, and keep a clean record of every conversation. It worked so well that when he polled the dental community, ~75% said “yes” they wanted it too.
